My Driver's side rear door is bad too. Have you replaced this yet? Curious what the difference is between the front door you did and the rear one.

Thanks!

Rear is MUCH easier. It could be because I had already done the front and provided the instructions. It's also easier because there are fewer controls to disconnect/reconnect. Here's the how-to info for the rear door.

Thanks,

I actually knocked it out yesterday. Wasn't too bad at all. Took me longer to drive down to get the part. Works like a charm now. Laughing I wish all modern cars were as easy to work on!

Can someone please post the part for the rear driver side door lock… my lock just went bad and I can't find the part number. I used the ones on the thread from earlier, but they don't come up on dodgeparts.com

Thanks in advance.

They're still the same as I posted back in '06. I'm not sure about the prices, they came from Alldata.

Rear Locks
    Right. 55256714AB. $75
    Left. 55256715AB. $72.50
Front Locks
    Right. 55256712AB
    Left. 55256713AB
You have to click the the OEM Catalog tab on Dodgeparts.com. Entern the part number in the OEM Parts page, and click on Dodge. I just checked it. It works. Doh!

Thanks! I tried the search from the main page first, guess that doesn't work. I went to the OEM catalog link and it worked there. Much appreciated.

Oh… Also, the actual lock fell into the door. Is that gonna pose me any additional problems?
