A/C Problems

My D's A/C has been running hot. I haven't had time to work on the radiator, and it's been running hot, but I think something in the A/C system is not right. I bought one of those recharge kits, and it seems to be holding pressure just fine, but the temp is way too high. Could it be that expansion valve or something like that? The hoses are warm, not cold like they should be. Could it be my compressor or evaporator? No leaks so far, so I kinda ruled those out. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciatd. I want to have something to tell the shop when I take it in.
