A quick formula for determning wheel/tire height... For example, the tire is a P275/60R17.

275 treadwidth *.60 = sidewall height (mm's)= 165 mm
sidewall height / 25.4 = sidewall height (in's) = 6.5 in
sidewall * 2 + 17 wheel diameter = tire height (in's) = 30 in
