Is your compressor cycling on and off? No compressor clutch = no A/C. If it is not cycling, check the fuses. If OK then check connections at the compressor for voltage and the switches that control them (they screw into the ac lines).
If all is well, could be expansion valve. But, let the shop make their own diagnosis. They see more all day long than we do. :p
