New battery choices

I have to purchase a new new battery for my D. After almost five years my battery finally gave up the ghost. I was thinking about the Diehard SUV, Truck and Van (North) or the Optima Red Top. I have a stock sound system (AM/FM/Cass/CD). I currently have stock lighting, but I was thinking about adding a set of driving lights. I have a CB radio, and I was thinking about adding a scanner and a 144MHz radio. Any reason I should consider spending the extra $50 on the Optima? I do some off road driving... not alot, but some.
