Re^2: OT: How do you know if Master Cylinder is bad?

Thank you for replying. While there is no ABS on the car, I wonder if you might be correct with still having air in the system. When he shut the car off, and I opened the master cylinder, it was completely empty. I'm afraid that he may have somehow damaged the MC by continuing to drive (and attempt) to use the brakes even when the MC was empty. I suppose the next step will be to do a complete fluid flush to ensure no air.
