Hey Shadango, don't you just love the days where every turn is a WRONG turn. ? I think we have all had them. a few years ago I was working on my 1970 Cutlass SX. a fairly rare piece and my wife puls in behind me in the driveway. I know she pulled in. I saw her, I saw her car (at the time hers was an ultra clean low mile chevy powered 1979 Cutlass Supreme) I don't remember what the job was I was performing on my ride (a perfromance mod no doubt) I am excited to test drive it to see what it runs like. close the hood, jump in, start the car, throw it in reverse just in time to look in the rear view mirror to see my trunk lid is still up by then BAM I nailed the front of her car. fortunately my bumper slid over hers (read no damage to the favored ride. mine) but I have successfully 're-configured' her grille and the accompanying sryctures. I wanted so much to be MAD at her. but it was my fault. I pull forward after realizing I've messed up only to pull too far and I drive right on top of my 'travel' tool box rendering it a useless twist of metal. now I'm really burned. we've all had those days.

They are, of course, worth a couple of laughs now. so better days ahead. although if your wife is like mine. you might have a laugh or two but the one part of the story you will NEVER forget are the things you said to her. lol. we can't help you there
