Please be SURE to post what they find (under a new thread so I see it!) :)

I have this exact problem. The hotter it gets the more I hear it. It feels like a ball joint before it really goes, but I have had them checked recently. I have checked the ball joints, steering linkages, shocks, etc to no avail.

If you find this I will owe you a drink!
