Most people use the cooler 3923 plugs in the 5.2 and 5.9 due to those engines detonation issues. The 4.7 does not have these issues, I think its best to stick with an OEM style plug. I like the NGK V-power. BTW, in the service manual for the 4.7 under spark plugs it has a warning in BOLD print NOT to use any type plug other than the OEM style plug. It does not have this same statement for the 5.2 or 5.9. Maybe the engineers who designed the engine know something?
