I had thisonce when driving in the States. I had an empty tank an filled up with Chevron (I think). The truck started pinging almost straight away.. even started to idle badly (more so when hot).. basically did this until I had to fill up again (luckily I was driving down to CA from Montana so I soon used it up). Never had the problem again. I would put this down to bad gas.
