I just paid $1800 for a bench rebuilt swap and $500 labor to install. This is my second tranny replacement. First one had 90 day guarantee and it was rebuilt at the shop and installed for $1800 and this one has a 2 year warranty. I just need to sell it before it fails at 60,000 miles-same as the other 2. Replaced first at 60,000 miles and the second one at 124,500 miles.
