Leaking steering rack at 32k

I was doing a quick once over on the D the other day,and noted a drip and some dampness on the passenger side boot/tie rod assembly. A check of the PS fluid level showed normal,and no puddles or drips on the floor overnight as of yet.

D spent yesterday at local dealer who responded that, "Well it really is not much of a leak, more of a seeping. Being that your warranty is up in May we will replace the rack assembly.

Service writer seemed like he wanted me to know that he was doing me a favor. Anyway, anybody else have such an issue with their rack at such a young age?
