Question: Is there a replacement for Factory Leather Steering wheel

My Factory Leather steering wheel is starting to get worn, was wondering if there is a replacement perhaps in Wood? What about disabling the air bag, what is involved to remove the air bag without having it go off. I remember seeing a post about sending the wheel out to have leather replaced, but it is kinda hard to drive with no steering wheel :)
