Re: How much to switch out gears?

These gears will be going into a 98 Durango 4x4 so that is going to be a pricey swap. I looked on the axle and didn't see anything so I e-mailed Dodge and asked for a build sheet. Not sure on the gear ratio, but I know my Durango isn't a limited slip since I add no additive with the new fluid. Anything else I can do besides swapping gears to help run the 33" tires? I have a 5.2L engine with 82k miles.
