For some reason I think that tranny codes must be cleared by the dealer, or go away on there own. I believe that the tranny controller is a separate unit and won't necessarily reset when you try disconnecting the PCM like the normal MIL. I had a code once on the wifes Liberty that I couldn't clear, a tranny code. Nothing was wrong currently but I think the t-Case got caught accidentily between fulltime and parttime (not long, maybe a min. or so, lever got pushed) Anyway, after like a day or so it went away itself. That's allz i know hope it helps a little.
