Stock shocks aren't that bad, can ride be better with Monroe SM's?

I have original shocks on '98D 5.9L SLT. I really don't find the shocks objectionable. The body sway in turns seems OK and road jolts/bounces don't seem that bad, but I don't know what to compare it to.

This is the first time I have driven an SUV and have very little modern truck experience.

I think the Monroe Sensatracs are very reasonably priced at $120 set and am ready to do the swap. What will it get me over the stock ones? Will body sway / handling and jolts be even better?

Someone push me over the edge!
