Machining front rotors...

When I was rotating tires, I noticed that the front rotors had wavy ridges in them. Not really bad, but nothing like new rotors. The pads looked fine. Am I OK to take them to a shop and machine the rotors w/o replacing pads? Anything else I should do while I am at it? Should I repack the wheel bearings, etc.?As in my previous post, two studs are cross threaded. Should I have the shop replace those at the same time?
Thanks!
