Re: Infinity speaker crossover?

As Tom mentioned the crossover is mounted on the speaker itself. When I installed the Alpines as a replacement for the shot Infinity ones, I had the option of either disconnecting the tweeters (since the Alpines have their own) or leaving them even thought they would be slightly out of phase. I tested it either way and it didn't seem to harm any; other than the highs tended to be a tad more pronounced which as I said doesn't bother me. BTW I replaced the back speakers with the same Alpines, with the adaptor plate it's a cynch to install. Hope that helps, aloha,
