I do not believe you can break the price down. A casino, bar or any establishment that want s to show the superbowl and charge admission must fill out the proper forms. They all pay a set price to the NFL to show the game. So breaking it down does not matter.

Why should the NFL sue for what has happened in the past? Can they even prove at this point that the establishments were showing the game in the past and charging?

Every establishment that has always shown or always will show a football game and charge admission has to have always paid the NFL. That's why you hear the "This NFL broadcast is soley the property of the NFL and...ect." during every broadcast. They cannot catch everyone for showing the game and charging. Maybe they are just getting around to catching this casino?

Also how can the casinos sue for lost profits? You know as well as the rest of us that they charge admission to people to come in and see the game. If they charge admission and show the game they are required by law to pay the NFL. There is no loophole to protect them from only charging for food and drink and then just happen to have the game on to watch. If one could get away with that, then everyone would have jumped onboard a long time ago.

Don't just jump on the NFL for protecting what is thiers. All the Sports do the same thing. I have known people to get busted for showing boxing at thier bar and charging admission to get in. On that note, even clubs have to pay so much money for the DJ toplay the music you dance to.
