Infinity speaker crossover?

I want to replace the infinity speakers in the front door. The bottom is 6.5" and the top is a tweeter. Is there a crossover in the door or behind the dash for these speakers? I would prefer to put a nice set of separates up front instead of a two or three-way speaker.
