Dave,

There were some pdf drawings of skidplates posted on the forum a while back. Maybe you could fab your own if somebody posts the drawings again.

You may also be able to buy them from forum members that purchased a D equiped with skids but dont go offroad. Realize that there was a design change in '00 or '01. The bolt hole design changed.

As a last resort, you may consider buying them from a Dealer - but they will probably price them like they are made from diamond encrusted gold. My skids (all 3 - metal not crummy plastic) were only a $200 adder to the price of my 2002 D.

Final note. Beware the dreaded plastic skidplates. You may be saying "Plastic Skidplates! who would every make plastic skidplates!".The Dodge engineers must have been high when they thought up that hairbrained design. They are only good for one hit. They were used from 2000-2002. Luckily they got so much grief over them they switched back to good ol steel sometime in '02. I got my D in May of '02 and it came with the steel skids.

Good Luck.
