Weegeet weegeet weegeet sound when making tight low speed turns

Ok guys, got another 3 months left on the warranty so hoping someone can point me in the right direction here before I make a fool of myself at the dealer. (see title :-)

2001 5.9 *2wd* Durango

When making tight low speed turns, (IE pulling into a parking spot) I occasionally get the strangest whining/rubbing sound from the front end. If I had a 4wd durango I would be _convinced_ the noise is coming from the front diff. But as my D is only 2wd I'm guessing that's not it. :-) Stock tires, nothing damaged down there that I can see, etc.

Someone else had mentioned this a month or so back, but I hadn't had my D long enough to decide that it was a legitimate problem. Then the other week my GIRLFRIEND heard it and was like "what's that weird noise?"

Anyone have any thoughts?
