The first time I changed my fluid, I tried to scrape the reusable gasket off, that when I found out they were supposed to be reusable. My '00 originally came with a thin rubber gasket that would seep over time, but when the dealer repaired my transmission under warranty, I noticed that there was this new thick gasket that never leaked, they also replaced the pan bolts, probably because the new gasket is thicker and needed longer bolts.Happy New Year
