tow hook

just ordered a trailer hitch on ebay, should be recieving it soon. was looking around on the net at the tow hook that snaps into the 2' receiver on the hitch, but i see that most of them are only rated at 2500 lbs., don't see how that is gonna help me very much i mean even a civic probably weighs more than that. anyone have any experiences with these? also is there a way i could put tow hook on the front and back, likr factory hooks maybe, where would they install and how
