You should get chains for all 4 tires especially with FT 4WD and ABS. They should be rated for Light truck use due to the weight of the vehicle not the type of tire. Many do not feel chains are necessary in the snow, but in the western US, many roads get closed to drivers without chains in the winter. I only purchased my chains to avoid being stranded on days the roads have chain requirements.

The D has limited clearance for chains if you have the max diameter tires which you do not so you should not have a real clearance problem. I have the 265 70R16 tires which are the max stock at 30.7" dia. so the only real practical chains for me are the cable type. I would still recommend the cable chain type for you though.

I bought some SCC cable chains (http://www.scc-chain.com/) from JC Whitney (www.jcwhitney.com). They are superior to typical cable chains. One pair cost 99.99. They are the code 3 Super "Z" LT Design Cable Tire Chains. Beware of cheaper cable chains. They dont work too well and they will break much sooner than SCC cable chains. If you break a chain you will probably take out your break lines and may do damage to other suspension components.
