I doubt most of us will get to see one on the roads, neverless drive one, or even own one. According to the sales manager at my local Dodge store DC is going to release only 1500 for general sales. Allocations will be based on last years truck sales. That leaves him (and me) without a chance of getting one. If you're related to the right people you'll get one.

According to the buzz, Ford is suspending all SVT production till the '06 model year. The much touted 500HP Lightning will not be produced in the near future if this is true. I chatted with a buddy at the Ford store, and he related a "delayed production of it". He had not heard anything about the suspension, but he said he would not be surprised if it turns out to be true.

That link had the facts then a bunch of kids yelling that "my truck can beat up your truck". Didn't read past 3 or so posts.
