Re: Tire chains - which ones?

Thought I read someplace that tire chains were not recommended for the D. Biggest issue is that the'll destroy the wheel wells and fender flares.
But, I checked my owners manual and FSM. The FSM says check your owners manual. The owners manual says nothing.
In 4 winters of using my D in the Great NorthEast, I've never felt the need to get or use chains.Joe
