If you are going to use the reciever, might as well just use your tow strap (the loop end) and the reciever pin...that is probably all you need...

On my 92 Dakota, I mounted tow hooks on the frame on either side...GREAT to have...Havent looked under the Durango yet...

I still wonder why in Sam Hill they would make a truck/4x4 and NOT have tow hooks as standard,...my Explorer was the same way...
