There are also other costs to consider that will stretch your budget even further. Insurance is one of those. It is not cheap to insure a $25K dollar vehicle. I am 36, married, excellent driving record and I pay $800 per year for full coverage. The other aspect to consider is fuel mileage. I don't know what you drive now, but if you drive a lot of miles, your budget will take another hit when you get your fuel bill.

They are awesome trucks to have, but upkeep and insurance is not cheap. Don't want to rain on your parade, just don't like to see people set themselves up for trouble by overspending on a vehicle that does not retain it's value. Just ask some people that have tried to sell or trade their 2 year old D's in (even R/T owners were not very happy to find out what the resale value was on thier $35K dollar rig).
