Anyone Have a Billet Grill?

I have been looking for a billet grill on E-bay and other places. As far as opening the hood, some of the kits come with an extension for the hood release and others don't, is it nessary to have the extension or can you open it without the extension?
For those of you that have this type of grille, where did you get it and what did you pay?
