You may want to check the pin configuration on both ends to sure the cable between the D and the trailer is correct. When I had the RV dealer wire up the 7 pin for my Jayco so I had a hot power to the trailer they had a problem with it. One service tech did it as a standard cable and after it didn't work right one of the other guys said Dodge used a non-standard pattern on the 7 pin side. Not sure what was different but they add to swap 2 wires to different pins on the 7 pin side of the cable. That may be all it is.Good Luck
