Had the pads on the D for no longer than 3 months before the front end started to 'stutter' when the brakes are applied. Based on the info found in this forum, this was a result of the softer metals used by Dodge for the manufacture the rotors.
I've ordered the Powerslots based on more opinions posted in this forum. When it was time to replace the 'warped' rotors, I discovered the rotors were not warped by the QS pads had started to fracture!
No problem, I've got a second set of QS pads. Replaced the 'fractured' pads and away we go.
The problems have not stopped there. I'm finding these QS pads run very hot. My Powerslots are showing signs 'tempering'.
Am I the only one going thru this? Is this isolated? Should I be using alternate Raybestos pads? any opinions of the Bosch pads?
An opinions would be appreciated
