No big deference between the 2, if your trailer is large, buy a Ram 2500 diesel, Cummins. I do not know if it will be a problem to import the 2500 diesel in Europe. If you buy a used car in the USA, be careful that the vehicle had no serious modifications (body lift, larger or wider rims and tires, welding on the chassis exhaust mod etc. Any changes to a car that are not standard with the builder specs and you will not pass the vehicle inspection. At least that's the way it is in Belgium. Germany must have the same rules.. No?
The norms for pulling a trailer in Europe is totaly diferent than in the USA. Max trailer load etc.
The rating HP/weight is another story in Europe.
Good luck with finding the parts when you will need some and you need a lot for a Durango!
