If you are knocking the steering out of alignment after a session of 4 wheeling, you are probably doing other damage to your suspension beyond the alignment problem (ball joints, cv joints, steering system, etc). I am guessing you are either beating the crap out of your D or you have another problem with your suspension/steering system that is causing your problem. The main reason you might use a steering stabilizer is to manage larger tires. They are also used for high speed offroad racing, but the D is not a good platform for offroad racing.
