Dodge Durango Forum II

no luck getting codes

hey guys i have a 1999 durango and the check engine light comes on all the time.. i have tried turning the key off and on 3 times in a row and yes i leave it on the third time, but i get no flashes. I'm tired of bringing it to the dealer everytime the light comes on (the dealer charges $75.00) and now the tranny only shifts from 2-3 gear, i have no first gear or overdrive any help would be appreciated thanks pete
