Fuel Gauge readings

Has anyone else seen this?
I fill the tank then drive the D until the gauge reads E and the computer has DTE = 0 miles. When I refill the tank it only takes about 16 gallons.
The manual says it has a 26 gallon tank. I don't think that there is 10 gallons of reserve but who knows with the MPG it gets.

Any help is appreciated.
