You might want to ask them to consider getting a long block instead of just heads. When engines get that hot there is sometimes metal transfer between parts that don't normally touch. The rings may loose their ability to seal. Lots of things. imo though, they'd be within their rights not to do any of it since you did continue to operated it after it was obvious there was a problem. Warranty or no, a person has a responsablity to try to minimize the damage. No choice but to drive it? What if the fuel pump quit and the thing wouldn't run at all? I do hope they fix it as good as new for you though.
