um, ooh, I don't have my sheet anymore.. but, roughly, the most important thing was to NEVER come to a complete standstill after the breaking..

I think is was somthing like half a dozen moderate-effort stops from 30-10mph, then half a dozen maximum-effort stops from 50-10mph with some cooling driving in between.

Hawk Brake Bedding-in Procedure
Step 1:
Make 6-10 Stops from approximately 20-25 mph. applying moderate pressure.
Step 2:
Make an additional 2 to 3 hard stops from approximately 40-45 mph.
Step 3:
DO NOT DRAG THE BRAKES!
Step 4:
Allow 15 mintues or more for the brake system to cool down.
Step 5:
Your new Hawk pads are ready for use.
