The sum total of what I've read/heard is:
- don't ever mix. flush and flush twice.
- dexcool and g05 are different.
- I am lost on the corrosion stuff.
- folks that run old mopars seem to like propylene glycol (e.g. sierra), but they don't have a mix of Al and Fe.
- make SURE you LABEL what you put in. And this might still not be enough to keep the helpful serviceperson at SpiffyLube or BPCitMoRon76 from topping up with something that will turn your coolant into lime (or orange) jello.
How's that for a nonanswer? (don't ask me, I'm concentrating on balljoints)
