The crazy thing is I checked the coolant about 1.5 weeks earlier. I'm just about always tinkering with it in one way or another and the coolant in the reservoir was at the right level, and the coolant was right up to the base of the cap neck. I really just seemed to go all at once. Maybe something started that week. I just talked to the Service Advisor again and he said it could have started at the T-stat housing also, although, I never saw any fluids on the ground underneath it. I don't know, I'm just bummed and semi-perplexed by it.
The funny thing is that after it overheated, the coolant was still at the correct level in the reservoir. It never pulled any additional fluid out of the res.
