Just for reference, I did the fuel pump replacement a couple of summers ago. In Connecticut, with my shop doing the work, the cost came to somewhere around $600 if I remember correctly. The part was somewhere between $200 - $250. I've got the HD Tow pkg and dropping the gas tank was not a small underatking.

Hope that helps. I'll post the numbers again if I find the receipt and it's way off.

I also suggest swapping in a new fuel filter while you're at it.
