98 D Front Axle Noise?

My D has a clicking sound coming from the left front axle area at low speeds. It seems to only start while tuning corners, but continues as you straighten the wheels out. It will stop at about 30 mph or if you don't throw it into the corners. (thats no fun) Could this be the CV Joint in the front axle? Has any one changed one of the shafts before? How hard was it? Details, pictures, any help at all,...
