I had the same problem but finally resolved it by...

... pushing/tapping the plug in farther. Just pushing the plug in or even a littel extra force did not seem liek enough. I used a tool on the back edge of the plug and tapped on it all around until it was pretty much on very very tight. Probably cannot get it off but so for no connection problems anymore.
