Re: cleaning of engine compartment & engine?

I like the CD-2 "Engine Detailing Kit"...
Comes with a can of cleaner, and a can of make-it-shine.
Spray the cleaner on, let it soak for a bit, then rinse
(I've just used a garden hose, worked great). Once it's
dry, spray on the detailer, wipe off any excess, and voila!

The first time I did it, I went nuts covering up anything I
thought might not like to get wet... Second time, I took a
chance and didn't cover up a thing (Except for the air filter,
of course)- no problems!

Oohhhh, shiny!
