I was having the same problems with mine, and like Mark, I basically pushed the plug in as far as it would go, then went another 1/2". No problems since. I thought I had a broken wire because I could get it to do it by wiggling the wires, even though the plug was tight. Really pound it in there and the problem should go away.Glenn
