What camshaft should I use?

Hello to all, I am currently in the process of joining the group. I have gained alot of knowledge from this site already and wish to thank everyone in advance. I have a 99' D, 5.9l 4wd SLT, 38,000 miles. I recently took it to my local dealer with cold start problems. It runs rough till it warms up. They diagnosed it with the #8 cylinder leaking by the rings on startup. Good news(i think)they are going to install new short block under warranty. I would like to install maybe a slightly larger cam at this time. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what lift/duration I should go with . It is a daily driver, plus I do some towing in the summer months (2 jetski's). Or should i stay stock and go with other performance add-ons.
