If I really try I can get 17 mpg, but I average around 15 mpg. It really has to do with your speed. If you can keep it at a steady 60 mph you'll get about 17 mpg, but I just can't do that. The worst I've ever had was 8 mpg. I was pulling the snowmobile trailer (with 2 sleds) running at 75 mph - 80 mph up highway 35 (in MN) with a little head wind.
