Mine was/is heard at 3/4 to WOT... deffinately more of a clicking sound. Not really metallic sounding. The motor sounds smooth, idles great even with a mild cam, and there's been no loss in power or MPG... (thank goodness!). :-) I showed the plugs to my mechanic and he was impressed with their condition for having 9000+ miles on 'em.John
