Lucky you, AAA out here in california doesn't even offer windshield ins. 185 out of pocket was the cheapest aftermarket glass with out replacing the trim. No leak yet either. If you can get the gravel haulers license and P#, they typically have the ins to replace your winshield! Try it does work. On my work dodge truck, had that happen where the rock cam off his truck, smacked the passenger side, huge spider, got his license & P# called on my cell on the spot and they told me to bring the truck to their shop and will have it changed on the spot. Luckily their shop was on my way.
