I have been pretty pleased with State Farm. Kind of interesting approach you suggest though. I'll have to remember that in case I need it in the future. This time the original chip came from a plain old passenger pickup truck kicking stuff up off the road.

Interesting to note that our DAK got whacked in the windshield by a 2x4 flung from a panel truck at highway speed and didn't even have a mark on it. 4 years later and it's good as new.
